What languages are supported?
Currently, Scantaku translates from Japanese to English. We're working on adding more target languages including Spanish, French, Chinese, and Korean.
How accurate is the translation?
Our AI is specifically trained on manga and understands context, slang, and Japanese-specific expressions. While no machine translation is perfect, Scantaku provides highly readable translations that capture the meaning and tone of the original.
What's included in the Free plan?
Free users get 5 pages per day with single image uploads. This is perfect for casual readers who want to try out the service.
What's included in Pro?
Pro subscribers get 100 pages per day, ZIP file uploads for entire chapters, bulk image uploads, no watermarks, and priority processing. Perfect for serious manga fans!
Is my data private?
Yes! Your uploaded images are processed and then automatically deleted. We do not store, share, or use your content for any purpose other than providing the translation service.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime through your Apple App Store subscription settings. Your Pro access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
